Our School Day

• Our school day begins at 8.50am for pupils.
• We encourage pupils to be on time for the start of the day so that they can get stuck in to their morning routines and fun activities!
• If a pupil arrives after 9.10am they are marked down as late in the register.
• If a pupil arrives after 9.20am, they are marked down as 'late after registers close' in the register.

We recognise that our classes are very fluid with their learning and therefore we do not have set playtimes. Our class teachers judge the engagement levels of their class and morning playtime happens at times that works for the group; the same for lunch play. This also means no big noisy bells throughout the day!

• Our school day finishes at 3pm for pupils.
• Staff have training and meetings after the end of the school day so it is important that our pupils are collected on time.
• On a Friday, our pupils leave at 1pm.

There are 2 entrances to our school.

Our MAIN entrance is at Whitehills Road. If you need to come to the school during the school day, this will be the entrance you need.

We also have an entrance at Boarders Lane. This is used at the start and end of the day ONLY.

Where you collect or drop off your child will depend on what class they are in.

Generally it is as follows:

Lower School: Yellow, Red, Blue, Purple, Green: WHITEHILLS ROAD.

Middle School: Squirrel, Fox, Badger, Deer, Hedgehog,: BOARDERS LANE

Upper School: Owl. Hawk, Robin, Falcon: EITHER ENTRANCE

Upper School Eagle, Kite: WHITEHILLS ROAD
